The Wildflower look

The paper is a near-white with a faint lilac tint and a fine speckle, the text is a deep plum gray and the labels are violet. Daisies, poppies, forget-me-nots, tulips, lavender and bluebells are drawn in thin outline with pale fills, and the color behind them comes from watercolor-style washes in lilac, blush, sage, butter yellow and sky blue.

The cover sets the title in a white circle ringed by a wreath of leaves, daisies, poppies and forget-me-nots, with washes blooming out behind it, two small butterflies above and a little bouquet in each lower corner. The Vision, Goals and Reflection section pages each frame a different wildflower bouquet in an arch, and a sprig of forget-me-nots and a daisy sit in the corners of every inside page.

Every tab has its own small drawing: a daisy for Home, a poppy for Start, forget-me-nots for Vision, a sprout for Goals, a tulip for Months, a heart for Gratitude, a butterfly for Prompts, a wreath for Reflection and a daisy on a stem for Notes. On the day cards, the labels sit on lilac, sage, blush and butter chips, and the mood row grows from a seed for heavy through a sprout, a bud and a tulip to an open daisy for bright.

The watercolor washes are images inside the PDF, so the file is larger than Sunrise's: about 4.4 MB.

Questions about Wildflower

What do the flowers in the mood row mean? They're a five-step scale: seed, sprout, bud, tulip and open daisy, labeled heavy, low, okay, good and bright. Circle one each day, or leave it blank.

Will the watercolor print? Yes. The washes print as soft patches of color, and most of each page is pale paper and thin lines, so it stays light on ink. Choose landscape and "fit to page".

Is it the same journal as Sunrise? Yes: the same 275 pages, prompts, stickers and links. Wildflower changes the colors, the drawings, the tab icons and the mood row.
