Merry Pastel Digital Holiday Planner

This pastel Christmas planner puts your holiday budget, gift list and card addresses on blush-cream pages trimmed with pink, mint and butter-yellow baubles. It's an instant digital download with nothing shipped: 96 undated, hyperlinked pages for Goodnotes and iPad that print lightly too.

You get one PDF: 96 undated pages in 7 tabbed sections, with 2 sticker pages.

Works in Goodnotes, Notability and Noteshelf on iPad, and in Xodo or Samsung Notes on Android tablets: any note app that keeps PDF links.

Soft colors, light on ink

Merry Pastel is the lighter of our two Christmas designs. Its cover is a garland of striped, dotted and zigzag baubles over snowy pink and mint hills, with pastel trees and a few small wrapped gifts. Inside, the paper is a warm blush cream, page titles are raspberry, and tables sit under soft pink headers with rounded corners. A dashed, stitched-look border runs around every page, and little baubles hang into the top corners.

Every section opens on a polka-dot panel in pink, mint or butter yellow with one big bauble, so you know where you are at a glance. Home is a little tree on the tab bar, and both sticker pages use the same three colors.

Because the background is pale and the art stays at the edges, a printed page needs much less ink than the evergreen Classic design; only the colored section panels use a noticeable amount. That makes Merry Pastel the easier choice if you like paper: print the gift list for the shopping trip, the card list for addressing envelopes and a grocery list for the store, and keep everything else on your tablet.

The Christmas budget pages

The holiday budget gives you a total, what's spent and what's left, then 12 categories from gifts and postage to hosting, travel and tips, each with planned, spent and difference columns. Two spending logs hold 32 purchases. Each person on the gift list has their own budget and spent columns, and the deal tracker records the regular and deal price of anything you buy on sale.

Questions about Merry Pastel

Is it still Christmassy without the red and green? Yes. It has the same baubles, trees, gifts and candy canes, drawn in pink, mint and butter yellow instead of evergreen and cranberry.

Does the holiday budget add up the totals? No. You write in your own figures; nothing calculates, and the pages are a place for your numbers, not advice. For a version that adds up as you type, see the Christmas budget and gift tracker spreadsheet.

Which pages are worth printing? The list pages: gifts, card addresses, grocery lists and the packing list. The calendars and weekly pages are easier to keep on a tablet, where you can duplicate them.
