Written for a cabin in the mountains

The cover is a deep forest green night: scattered stars, a crescent moon, two layers of mountain ridges and a dark line of pines. Inside, the cream pages carry rust-colored labels, a small mountain-peak line under each title and a row of pine trees along the bottom edge, with titles in Playfair Display.

The sample home, Pine Hollow Cabin, is written for the woods rather than the coast. Its how-to cards cover a hot tub and a wood-burning fireplace, with sample steps you rewrite for your own cabin. The trash page warns that bears live nearby and asks guests to latch the bear-proof bins. About the Home mentions a steep driveway in snow, a weak mobile signal, a loft ladder for older kids, and snowshoes and sleds by the back door. Parking suggests four-wheel drive or snow tires in winter, and getting around reminds guests that a car is a must. Instead of beaches, page 18 is Trails & Lakes, with the drive or walk time to each.

Questions about Mountain Cabin

Does the sample text mention beaches or a pool? No. Every page is written for a mountain or lake cabin, so there's nothing coastal to delete.

Can I add photos of my cabin? Yes. There's a round photo spot on the welcome letter and an optional photo box on About the Home, and you can set a photo as the cover background. The instructions show how in PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote.

Will the dark cover print well at home? It prints, but the green runs to the edge and uses the most ink, and a home printer leaves a thin white frame. Card stock or a print shop gives the cleanest cover; the cream inside pages are light on ink.
